When we first conceived the vision for the Caring MR Suite® in 2011, what we knew for sure is that we didn’t want it to just be MRI patient entertainment. When devising content for the Caring MR Suite – not just any content would do. It would need to be created specifically to soothe MRI patients. And so our in-house videographer travelled the world gathering a variety of the most breathtaking and soothing nature scapes for patients – ranging from Big Sur to Mount Hood to an underwater journey, guided by a giant sea turtle.

Plus, we added in Thank You and Birthday Themes; Patriotic Themes to honor our service men and women and veterans; and a Congratulatory Theme for a last scan or treatment day. We can even add custom Themes for your site.

While our original Nature Theme videos are core to the essence of the Caring MR Suite, we understand each patient is unique, and for some, a favorite movie or streaming show may be the best experience. For this reason, we offer an optional Blu-ray player, plus the option to stream content from your choice compatible device for your MRI patient entertainment needs.

 

3. Complementary Soothing “Spa-Like” Soundtracks

Favorite default messages are saved, like “Please Hold Still,” and new favorites can be added on the fly or saved as a default. Saint Francis Children’s Hopsital’s recent pediatric Caring MR Suite study found pediatric anesthesia rates to be flipped. Prior to the Caring MR Suite, the hospital was sedating 95% of pediatric patients over 5.  Now, 97% of patients over 5 are being scanned awake.
