He could be thought of as the financial captain of the PDC ship – calmly, thoughtfully and strategically helping guide PDC through the tranquil and turbulent waters of these last nearly 10 years. And despite the rigors of the job, he seems to always keep a cool head, friendly demeanor, willingness to help where needed and nearly always a smile.
Meet Jared, our fantastic Chief Financial Officer – and learn more about Jared from those who work with him most!
According to Shenelle, PDC Service and Production Manager, “Jared’s contributions to PDC far outweigh numbers and finance. His knowledge and leadership are integral to our day-to-day operations and overall success. He has an incredible way of balancing the requests of individuals and departments with the overall goals and objectives of the company. He not only searches for ways to improve and be more efficient, but is always creative in his approach. In the several years I have been privileged to work with him, I have always been able to count on him as a voice of reason. Despite his poor taste in sports teams, I trust and value his advice and guidance.”
And according to Blayne, PDC Chief Sales Officer, “Jared, the fearless CFO leader of PDC. Not just your typical bean counter. Jared assists with other areas of the company, always with his eye on the bottom line. Jared’s financial knowledge, straight-forward approach and absolute integrity make him a perfect fit for PDC. He has a great way of keeping a positive outlook in a very demanding job. He always seems to have a smile on his face, at least till month end. PDC is proud to have Jared on the team – so cool that he does everyone’s taxes for free too!”
And last, but not least, according to Jim, PDC President, Jared is “an accountant with the desire to run a company. It’s the way Jared once described his professional goal to me. When Jared joined PDC, his first assignment was to learn every aspect of PDC and develop a plan for a more efficient organization and improved financial results. His answer was alignment. He launched his endeavor with little experience and a lot of heart. Some perceived him as a green tomato in a basket of ripe, red, juicy heirlooms. Those of us who know tomatoes understand you pick them when they are green and let them ripen off the vine. It yields the most sumptuous fruit, free of imperfections. It’s fair to say Jared completed his undergraduate work at PDC and is presently focused on helping frame the future of our progressive company. He is one of many that have accepted the mantle and responsibility of professional change to foster positive growth.”
