I have 30 years of experience in healthcare.

Education:

Bachelor of Business Administration – BBA Health Care Administration/Management

Military Service:

United States Navy
Served in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm
United States Naval Academy
Chief Radiology Officer for the Brigade of Midshipmen in Annapolis, MD

What brought you to PDC?

I wanted to become a business owner and work with a forward-thinking company.

Why did you choose a career in patient experience?

I have always felt that the patient experience is directly linked to healing and better outcomes for patients.

What is your favorite part of your job, and or favorite part of helping customers?

That it’s ever-changing. I enjoy listening to customers and appreciate innovation.

What is one of your proudest moments (professional and or personal)?

The birth of my children.

How do you envision the future of healthcare?

I envision equitable access, empowered consumers, behavior change, and scientific breakthrough.

What do you wish customers knew about PDC, that they might not know?

Describe your ideal patient experience suite:

I am fond of a suite with site-built colored lighting, a beautiful Illuminated Image Ceiling® and MRI in-bore viewing.

What do you like to do when not at work?

I enjoy boating, swimming, hunting, coaching youth sports and spending time with family and friends.

What celebrity are you most commonly confused with?

Brock Lesnar, happens all the time.  I also get asked what NFL team I played for.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Eddie Martini’s – best steak around, in my opinion.

What is your favorite TV show?

Yellowstone. I am not usually a binge watcher, but I got into Yellowstone and can’t get enough.

What is an unusual fact you’d like to share?

I’m a Purple Heart recipient. Many people do not know this, as I have not shared until just recently.

I love creating and building relationships and doing something good in the world.
